Mat Glover of Glover Masonry Associates, Inc. was elected by ASA Region 10 to serve on the ASA Board of Directors for a term beginning July 1, 1999 and ending June 30, 1999.

The ASA Regional Director is a key member of the Association who through service on the Board of Directors develops the goals and objectives of ASA. As the governing body of the Association, the Board of Directors makes the rules, formulates the policies and establishes programs of the Association. In addition, a Regional Director serves as the liaison between the ASA Board and the chapters, chapters-in-formation and state organizations in his region.

Mat has served as the ASA Colorado Chapter President for the 1998 term and continued as a member of the Executive Committee through June 1999. He serves as Legislative Committee Chair for the Colorado Chapter and is an active member of the Rocky Mountain Masonry Institute, Associated General Contractors and Mason Contractors of America.

Under the leadership of Mat, Glover Masonry Associates, Inc. actively support involvement in the community from top management down. They have a saying that "to not be involved is an acceptance of mediocrity." As a part of their involvement, Glover Masonry has participated in RMMI's Apprenticeship Committee, AGC's Safety Committee, ASA's Board of Directors, Budget/Finance and Golf Committees, and MCAA's Legislative Committee.

Glover Masonry takes great pride in what has been accomplished at their business and ASA takes great pride in Mat's election to the ASA National Board of Directors, representing Region 10.
