More than 150 ASA members and guests enjoyed a perfect Colorado Day as they came together for the 17th Annual ASA Golf Tournament.

The scramble event hosted a full 36 teams. Players enjoyed brats and burgers on the patio and an opportunity to 'warm up' on the driving range. The shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. got off to a blazing roar as 36 golf carts raced to their assigned starting positions!

Golfers had an opportunity to try their skill on the putting green with a television as the prize or the hole in one contest with a new car serving as the incentive. Other opportunities to win included the Vegas Hole, winners had to make a 180 yard drive across a threatening pond. Other events were the longest drive, shortest drive or closest to the hole.

Play wrapped up about 5:30 p.m. Dinner was served and offered New York Strip or Salmon Steak.

Just as cheese cake was being served, Ken Stockton, ASA President welcomed and thanked all the participants and sponsors. Handing the microphone over to Mike Sventko, Golf Committee Chair and Allan Dawdy, Golf committee member, cash prizes and trophies were awarded to the top 3 team.

ASA Golf Committee made certain that there were gifts galore and many won attendance prizes ranging from coffee mugs with golf balls to the grand prizes of a Las Vegas Weekend for Two or a set of golf clubs. Winner of the Las Vegas Weekend was Marvin Heath with Central Fire. Taking the golf clubs home was Jim Andrews with Fransen and Pittman.
