ASA Colorado Looks To The Future

The American Subcontractors Association of Colorado held it’s Annual Planning Retreat July 19-21, 2001. Board of Directors and Committee Chairs worked together to review the Strategic Plan and to reestablish goals of the association. The Planning Session was conducted by E. Colette Nelson, Executive Vice President ASA National facilitated the planning at LakeShore Lodge, Estes Park Colorado. Jim Turpin, Director of ASA National Government Relations provided leadership training and assisted in government relations planning.

The ASAC goals are: Advocacy, Collaboration, Communication, Education, Membership and Management and Governance. The ASAC Committees will be developing the goals in the weeks ahead.

The planning group expanded the mission statement of ASAC to include a vision and values statement for the subcontractor association. These core statements direct and guide the association as they represent Colorado subcontractors and the Colorado Construction Industry.
