ASAC was honored by ASA National as an Exemplary Chapter during the Leadership Forum's 1999-2000 Merit Award Program.
Congratulations on this honor! It has been quite a year for ASAC. This Exemplary Chapter award in combination with Chapter of the Year, Executive Director of the Year and Government Relations Person of the Year tells ASAC membership and the construction community that ASAC is moving forward and moving up.
As an Exemplary Chapter, ASAC received a display banner and certificate for use at our meetings and other functions. All ASA Chapters are required to complete the Merit Award Program, which encompasses seven core areas: chapter management; technology; educational programs and membership meetings; government relations; membership recruitment/retention; association management; and chapter identification/affiliation. There are a total of 73 points assessed to the Merit Award Program and ASAC had a total of 70 out of those 73 points.
Dave Eatherton, ASAC President, Eatherton Masonry recognizes that without our members we would not be able to offer the many valuable programs and services present at ASAC. At the same time he encourages the subcontracting community to support the industry through participation and membership in ASAC.
